We haven't set the date yet, but I am looking for tips on music festivals, good venues, and general advice about seeing music (and possibly performing) while we are there. Looking for new Jam Members. Well, I'm the "Grimes" in the Albuquerque acoustic Duo, Donohoe & Grimes. I host an acoustic open-mic/jam at Molly's Bar in Tijeras every first Tuesday from 5:30-9:00. I supply a complete 8 channel PA system and even a guitar and people are welcome to bring their own instruments (preferably with a pickup, but we can mic it if necessary). It has a very supportive crowd and is a great place for new musicians to get a taste of playing in front of people or for seasoned pros to try out new material.
